At Cambridge Equine Ltd, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may be entitled to return it for a refund in accordance with this policy and your statutory consumer rights.

  1. Returns – Change of Mind

If you purchase goods from us online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without having to provide a reason.

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel your order, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

To request a return, please contact us at:

Email: info@cambridgeequine.com
Returns Address: Oaks Dr, Newmarket CB8 7SY (Unit 10)

Please include your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to return.

  1. Condition of Returned Items

Items should be returned in an unused and resaleable condition wherever possible, with their original packaging, labels, accessories and documentation.

You are entitled to handle goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality, as you would in a shop.

If an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has been reduced as a result, we may be entitled to make a deduction from your refund where permitted by law.

  1. Return Postage

For unwanted items or items being returned because you have changed your mind, you are normally responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, unless we have agreed otherwise.

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the contract, please contact us before returning it. We will advise you of the appropriate return arrangements.

  1. Refunds

Once you have cancelled your order and we have received the returned goods, we will process your refund within the applicable legal timeframe.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

For cancellations, we will refund the cost of the goods and the cost of the standard delivery service originally paid. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we are generally only required to refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered.

  1. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.

If you receive an item that is:

  • Faulty or defective
  • Damaged during delivery
  • Incorrect or different from what you ordered
  • Not as described
  • Not fit for its intended purpose
  • Otherwise not in accordance with your statutory rights

please contact us at info@cambridgeequine.com as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Where an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will deal with the matter in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

  1. Non-Returnable Items

Certain goods may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel. These can include:

  • Personalised or specially made items
  • Perishable goods
  • Sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed
  • Certain software, CDs or DVDs once unsealed
  • Other products where an applicable legal exception applies

Where an exception applies to a particular product, we will provide the relevant information before you complete your purchase.

  1. Sale Items

Sale and discounted items are subject to the same statutory consumer rights as full-price items.

A reduction in price does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, incorrectly described or otherwise does not meet the requirements of consumer law.
